A Machine dig is when I bring in an excavator in to mine commercially there's new
material coming up and tons of it. There is a tremendous chance your going to find
something great and a lot of it.
Scheduled digs are the normal 1 to 2 digs per month that are open to the public.
The cost of scheduled digs is $35 per person per day over the age of 16.

A: A guide that will help you find material. This doesn't mean they will dig material
for you but they will show you how to find it.

A: I have tons of them. If you let me know what you are looking for in advance,
chances are I can have it on site for you when you arrive to dig. I have a Rock Shop

I look forward to digging beside all of you. Here are a few more things to keep in
  • Please help me keep this site clean. Please pick up after yourselves. We do not
have a lot of space in our trashcans. If possible, please keep your trash in your
car and dispose of it at home.
  • I want this to be fun for everyone, and I encourage entire families to attend.
Please respect that the Hogg Mine is a family-friendly business.
  • Please be courteous to your fellow diggers and don't invade their digging spots.
If tools present in an area, someone has staked claim to that area already.
Please respect them and do not move their tools and dig in their claim. I wish
everyone the best of luck. Happy Digging!
